the first WCW Women's Cruiserweight Champion.
Uematsu had two successful title defenses, on
04/21/97 in Osaka, JAPAN against Yuka Shiina and on 04/29/97 in Tokyo, JAPAN
against Sugar Sato.
Yoshiko Tamura defeated Toshie Uematsu on 07/19/97 in Yokohama, JAPAN
to win the title.
Tamura had two successful title defenses, on
08/22/97 in Osaka, JAPAN against Saya Endo and on 09/06/97 in Hamamatsu,
JAPAN against Momoe Nakanishi.
Sugar Sato defeated Yoshiko Tamura on 09/20/97 in Kawasaki, JAPAN to win
the title.
Sato had one successful title defense on 04/03/98
in Yamaguchi, JAPAN against Sonoko Kato. The title was never defended
again and quickly forgotten about soon after.
